Our Old Town Albuquerque walking tour begins at the Albuquerque Museum, where you’ll learn some tips for analyzing and interpreting art while looking at artwork by local artists.
Then, venture into colorful and atmospheric Old Town where you’ll visit a tucked away chapel, a Native-owned trading post, and the galleries and studios of several other Albuquerque artists.
Conclude the tour with a toast at Lapis Room gallery, where you’ll enjoy a glass of local wine from Noisy Water Winery surrounded by gorgeous art.

We’ll be spending most of our time inside, but we will be outside, too, so dress for the weather.
This is a walking tour, so although there will be stops where you can stop and sit, we recommend wearing comfy shoes.

Our total walking distance from our starting location to our ending point is less than 0.5 miles, and we make frequent stops along the way.

Usually, we are able to incorporate some artwork that can be touched. Additionally, our guides are trained in museum education techniques that focus on detailed description of artworks. This means that they are comfortable describing all aspects of a work of art to visually impaired customers.
