    Not your typical tour.

Intimate, personal, engaging. No spiels, no crowds. Our tours are truly audience-oriented. While our tours are relaxed and accessible, we've actually distilled a lot of fancy learning theory and museum education methodology to create informative and memorable experiences that are also a lot of fun. Here's a glimpse at what makes us different.

    Slow & Select

We take the old adage "quality over quantity" to heart. By visiting a small number of galleries and spending time with a select few works of art, we create time and space to slow down, look closely, and enjoy the experience.

    Conversational

Conversation is the cornerstone of our tours. Our discussion-based approach promotes learning, exploring, and sharing. And, we don't do rehearsed spiels, so every tour is one-of-a-kind. While art historical methods inform our tours, this is also about you –– the viewer –– and your personal responses to art.

    Exploratory

Reciting facts and figures is not our priority. Rather than just receive information, we want you to engage, connect, and explore. Through activities that encourage close-looking and conversations with practicing artists and gallerists, we'll actively delve into the work on view.

    Chris, TripAdvisor

"Elaine's tour was a step beyond the standard lecture-style visit to a museum or gallery, where listening is the primary action. It was equal parts art history lesson, interactive discussion and colorful personalities."

    Sinnabun, TRIPADVISOR

"This tour far exceeded my expectations. Santa Fe is known as something of an art hub, and as someone who isn't immersed in that scene, it can appear to me as hard to access. BUT, this tour really opened up that world to me."

    Elizabeth, TripAdvisor

"I cannot speak highly enough of Elaine! We were her first tour with kids under 5 and she knocked it out of the park! The selection of galleries she chose were perfect for my kids and she had so many tricks up her sleeve to keep them both engaged and interested. I would recommend this tour to anyone as she really does tailor to the group she's with."

    Marliese, TripAdvisor

"Not only was I experiencing Santa Fe's amazing collection of art, additionally, Elaine leads you into a conversation that brings forth who you are, what you're doing and what's occurring in the world. She is remarkably tuned into her individual or group, and has an understanding of the art through the ages. Elaine is well received and at home in Santa Fe's galleries and museums- so those with her feel the same. Thank you."
